July 18, 2008Hey guys going to attempt my first linked setup on my 87 F150. The Dana 60 is almost complete, so need to look into the suspension setup. A couple of guys have modified there Suplift Superrunner trailing arms,Cage new trailing arms, *or* the casted FAbritec arm. Is this due to fact that linked setups are stupid for this truck ? I would like to build a trial ready rig that can still function on the open road and haul my goosekneck trailer. Any and all idea welcome.

July 19, 2008Pick one off road truck *or* tow truck.
July 19, 2008throw some revolver shackles the leafs, and you will have a capable susp on and off road.
July 19, 2008Ive seen many people argue between the 4 link and the 3 link
I still want a 4 link front and rear on my truck with bilsteins in the corners..
there are different shops I havent really talked to that much about it.. one is in NW austin up by cedar creek somewhere.. Fuller Customs.. they do good work on serious vehicles.. and they compete in them..
July 21, 2008Budlight.
Just a pore working person the truck will have to pull double duty untill i can get another project. ( I have my eyes on my Dads 88 ranger.) I can use the old motor, and axles out of the F150.
Arti - Fuller Customs?
Rebel - Leaf springs would be the easiest and cheapest.
July 22, 2008^ and if you throw some revolver shackles on it will flex link a linked susp.
July 22, 2008will the revolvers handle the trucks weight?
July 22, 2008I talked to Charles at Alcan Springs and he said that their Orbit-Eye setup will hold any trucks weight.
