April 3, 2008I used it and it smoked up an entire parking lot. That stuff kicks ass. Used it once or twice since and don't get that same effect which means I ain't getting enough carbon built back up. That is a good thing though.
I recommend it.
April 3, 2008I only have pros. Smoke show was probably the best part. Truck just ran a little better afterwards.
April 3, 2008You guys just suck it in through the brake booster vacume hose?
April 3, 2008Great Stuff, I run it thru the pcv hose on mine as I don't have a brake booster but at the same time I run it thru my gas. Do it about every 5k miles it definitely makes the truck run smoother.
April 3, 2008Well I did it the wrong way but the fun way. I ran it in my gas which is fine. But I actually stuck a funnel right down my throttle body and poured it in. Let it sit for a few and then started it. Had a little trouble starting but what do you expect when you flood the engine. ROFLMAO. I didn't pour a whole bottle in when I did it that way obviously.
April 3, 2008I put 1/3 in the engine where the oil goes, 1/3 thru the vacuum line then the last in the tank. Great stuff.
November 8, 2010Also for those of us that let our rigs sit all winter in the off season it`s a good idea to dump 1/2 bottle in the tank to keep the gas stable and keep condensation out of the gas.
November 29, 2010Seafoam might be the greatest invention ever!! I use it religiously! Personally, no Con`s at all. But a friend used it on his 96 Bronco, and now his valve cover gaskets leak. His engine was so nasty it wouldn`t leak until it was clean.(valve cover bolts where lose)
November 30, 2010I also use it in my boat when I winterize it
