October 16, 2006I'll bring the
and the 12 gauge!
I will also be bringin' some coroplast targets, ez-up and 2 or three tables!
I really don't mind anyone shootin what I bring as long as they are SAFE and don't mind pitchin' in on some ammo.
I know kevin already said this...but just to re-iterate
SAFETY IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE!
October 16, 2006it's been a few years since i have fired a gun but i am looking forward to this. if you don't mind dave i think i would like to bring some ammo for your 9mm, i'm not really into shooting clay pigeons. what could i bring to shoot at, i assume paper targets would be just fine. i'll bring ear plugs for anyone who doesn't have them.
October 16, 2006i will be up there with my 22, my other 22, and my 12 guage, and maybe my black powder 44
October 16, 2006bring whatever you like. pumkins watermelons cans 2 liter bottles. anything not biodegradable i plan on packing out of course. I dont mind people shooting my shut gun, my shoulder gets sore after about 30 rounds.

October 17, 2006hey guys.. throwing out some advice for you for safety..
shoot one at a time..
have designated areas to throw the pidgeons, if a pidgeon goes off line, dont fire at it..
when your firing a new gun, get a very good hold on it and expect it to kick your ass.. dont drop it.. hold on for dear life..
finger out of trigger till your ready to shoot..
dont point anything at anyone.. even if it isnt loaded..
make sure you dont fire any high caliber weapons when someone is near you.. the concussion hurts..
watch where the shells go.. brass is hot..
when you use a pump gun.. dont try to be creative with where the shells go.. just pump it..
and some fun targets to shoot are the walmart special soda pop cans.. the red ones or orange ones work the best.. let em get cold in the fridge over night or something.. then shake the crap out of them and shoot away..
if you have high powered rifles or something.. old paint cans filled with water are always fun.. same as water bottles and what not..
and depending on how strict your regulations are.. cheap aerosol cans are fun too.. also old skillets and pans and what not are fun to shoot also..
have fun.. be safe.. and blow up a pumpkin or 2 for me.. and take pictures
October 17, 2006sweet thanks morgan ill go to trader joes next week. Ill bring up some slug rounds too for my 12 gauge muahahaha
