June 20, 2005My son took the '87 S10-Blazer out to play in the local mud hole. Sorry no action pics, although I did get a few of afterwards. Here's a couple of the better ones.
June 20, 2005thats pretty good mud cover for stock tires, i used to take out my 83 s10 with 235 tires and id be out there for like 3 hours and it wouldnt be that muddy.
heres the dirtiest i ever got it, and i know i was out there for a few hours. that was the worst color too, soon as the mud would dry you couldnt even tell it was dirty
June 20, 2005also it might not be a bad idea to go to a junkyard and pick up one of them plastic skid guards that go under the front of the engine or make some kinda home made deal. thats a lot of crap getting thrown up there, i had one of those cheep plastic deals on my red s10 and it eventually smashed up into the frame but it did its job keeping mud and crap out of the engine.
June 20, 2005I have the plastic splash gaurd, we took it off the clean the mud from teh Cliffs run out and never got around to put it back on.
Yea, I am pretty impressed with how well this little truck does. I cannot wait to get bigger tires on it.
June 20, 2005doncha just luv how the tailgate always stays so clean..
June 22, 2005i always found that funny also. my suburban has swing doors and i left them open when i was stuck the other day and that got the back end dirty
June 22, 2005hey abig84,
I just noticed your S10 has the same lazy door as my '87. It looks like your drivers door doesn't clsoe all the way, and if its like mine, you gotta shut it hard to get it closed all the way.
June 23, 2005good job in the mud! sounds like yall had fun
