April 30, 2004BFGs are think are the nicest for decent off-road traction and good regular road driving.
April 30, 2004I run the BFG's in 31's on my Bronco (my 33's are M/Ts) and while most people say that the tire isnt so great even with a bad front end & uneven wear patterns I was getting 30,000 miles on them now that the front end is fixed my last set saw 75,000 granted one was beyond bare when I got new ones for her but I also still have 4x4 issues with the truck and it seems that at the most critical moments the tranfer will slip & I'll start spinning
I love the tires Ive had them on 3 broncos and one 250 and once the current 250 gets new shoes it will be these
April 30, 2004I have had two different sizes of BFG's A/T's, love them both.
April 30, 2004Have them on my other truck. Great for road and snow driving, bad for offroad driving. They clog up in mud, but otherwise they are fine offroad.
May 19, 2004The BFG are good or the Super Swamper STS. Neither one are all that good in mud.
July 16, 2004I have also been on a search for a good all around tire and found that the Bridgestone dueler a/t revo is pretty good. I get mine put on tomorrow, I will let you know how they are after I lay out some miles.
July 16, 2004Had the Bridgestone Dueler A/T on my Expy before going the the ProComp MTs; they had good road manners and performed great in most weather: rain, snow, dirt, and lots of street driving.
July 16, 2004I've got 35" BFG A/t's and they are wearing well They have great grip on pavement and snow and ice. They do well offroad although obviously not as well as M/T's. I may try the Mickey Thompson Dick Cepeck FC Radial II's next. They have some good tread.
July 16, 2004I had the BFG AT's on my truck. I had 3 sets and they worked great in snow, ice, rain, dirt, and rocks. I did however get stuck in mud a couple of times. For a daily driver that will still play off road, I think they worked great.
July 18, 2004for an all terrain try the new swamper STS, i like them a lot and do better offroad than a BFG A/T, plus look better IMO. they are wearing great also even though i have the bias
