May 8, 2006Glowing headers are usually a sign of a Lean condition if the Timing is correctly set
July 27, 2006this happened to a friend of mine before.. we put a new cam in it (chevy 350) and when we were breaking it in we had cherry red headers and flames shooting out.. the total advance on the cam was somewhere around 32 degrees if i remember but anyway we had the timing all wrong.. fixed that and we were fine..
